We were all shocked by the devastating earthquake that took place in Haiti on January 12, 2010.  Maybe you responded with a prayer, a donation or support to organizations that aided the area. 

Unfortunately, many are already starting to forget about this country where approximately 250,000 people lost their lives and more than 300,000 were injured.  We’ve decided that not only would we not forget, but that we would do something more to help Haitians and Mother Earth. 

Yes, we’ve already donated money.  Yes, we’ve already supported organizations that aided Haiti.  But now, we want to do one more thing…and we want you to join us.  You know that pair of sneakers in your closet that have only been worn once or twice?  How about the leather loafers that still have the price tag on them?  And maybe you’ve seen a few shoe sales recently that you could take advantage of?  Let’s put our mind to discovering what we can recycle, re-use, and re-purpose! 

There are people, in Haiti, right now, who have lost everything they own…right down to their family pictures, personal possessions and money.  Being barefoot only exposes them to more disease and prevents them from being able to help re-build, travel to treatment facilities and so much more.  But together, we can help.

We’re Shoes For Haiti, and we’ve partnered with The Shoe Bank, One 5 Foundation, Orphans of the World, Airline Ambassadors International, and Equal Justice to accomplish one goal – to partner with YOU and send as many pairs of new or gently used shoes to those who need them in Haiti!

Once you pledge a donation of one pair of shoes or more, we’re going to send you information on where to send your pledged shoes, as well as a Host Guide if you would like to host a shoe drive in your area!
